*Fort Liedot　(ISLAND OF RE)

Fort Liedot was built in 1810 by Napoleon the first to protect the Island of Aix from invaders. The island of Aix is between the Islands of Oleron and Re. Very close to "Island of Aix" is the famous fort "Fort Boyard".

Liedotの要塞（レ島）

オレロン島とレ島の間にエクス島がある。ナポレオン１世は1810年、エクス島を外敵から守るためLiedotの要塞を築いた。エクス島の近くには、有名な「ボヤール要塞」もある。

ルイ14世時代の要塞設計家、Vaubanの代表作である。美と機能を兼ね備えた馬蹄（ばてい）形の要塞で、海からの侵入を防いだ。
